I’m Roman Zelichenko, a former immigration lawyer who later moved into legal technology and product building. Over time, I became increasingly interested in a recurring problem: important information is often technically available, but not actually usable by the people who need it.

That idea stayed with me, especially as I spent more time around lawyers, founders, and other professionals trying to evaluate new software and AI tools. I kept hearing the same concern: how is this product using my data, my files, or my client information?

In many cases, the answer was already there in the terms and conditions, privacy policy, or data use policy. The real problem was that these documents were too long, too dense, and too unnatural to work through in real life.

That is what led me to build Rigmarole.

I wanted to create a simple tool that helps people interact with website policies in a more natural way, ask better questions, and better understand how digital products may collect, store, share, or use their data. Lawyers were the original spark, but the more I thought about it, the more obvious it became that this is really a problem for anyone who uses the internet.

Rigmarole is my attempt to make that experience clearer, more practical, and more user-friendly.
